Scientific data is the ultimate tool for policy makers.
It is one of the few things that can tell us whether a given drug is safe or not.
In addition, it is the only thing that has a clear and well-defined impact on outcomes, as opposed to the “ifs” of politics.
Unfortunately, we have seen too many politicians and policy makers using the science of scientific data as the ultimate trump card, and that is a problem for the American people.
We know that there is an epidemic of opioid abuse, and this is a crisis we have to confront head on.
But if we fail to do so, we will be left to deal with a future of opioid addiction in which addiction is an inevitability.
I hope the American public, as well as the world, will take a moment to learn more about the science behind the pharmaceuticals we take every day.
We need to know that, when we use this information to make decisions, we should not be driven by political considerations, but rather based on the facts, the research, and the health of the people who are most at risk.
