The mainstream media is not buying the arguments of climate change deniers.
A new CNN/ORC International poll found that more than half of Americans (56 percent) think the United States should reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.
This is a major turnaround from a January poll, when the majority (56%) said the United State should keep on increasing emissions.
The pollsters said Americans have been less willing to support cutting greenhouse gas emissions than other industrialized nations.
When asked if the United Nations should accept that global warming is happening, 52 percent said yes.
In February, President Trump promised to “cut back” the United Kingdom’s carbon emissions.
But, according to CNN poll, only 42 percent of Americans want to cut back on their own emissions.
In May, Trump told the New York Times that his administration was planning to slash carbon emissions from the U.S. and would announce the plan soon.
The plan includes a plan to cut greenhouse gas pollution in the U-shaped “green” line.
In August, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized a new plan to reduce carbon pollution from power plants.
The agency is aiming to cut the carbon pollution in power plants by 50 percent from 2005 levels by 2030.
But a majority of Americans think this will not be enough.
A majority of those polled said the plan was too ambitious.
Only 37 percent of people think the EPA’s goal is reasonable.
On Wednesday, Trump signed an executive order on energy and climate change.
The new order includes a $100 billion reduction in carbon pollution and an end to a rule that requires utilities to keep in place emissions-free power plants on federal land.
Trump has repeatedly questioned the legitimacy of global warming.
His administration has been criticized for its inaction on global warming, which critics say has caused global warming to become more intense and more damaging.
In his State of the Union address in January, Trump said global warming was real, caused by human activity, and that he would be putting America’s economy on the right track by eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse.
But he has also called global warming a hoax, a conspiracy theory.
